Girl Scouts is a preeminent leadership development organization for girls, empowering 2.7 million members, 1.9 million girls, and 800,000 adults to change the world. Founded over 100 years ago by Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, the organization has consistently helped girls discover their strengths, passions, and talents. The core mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

Through various programs, girls are offered opportunities to do something extraordinary, fostering leadership and community involvement. Adults can also contribute by volunteering, supporting the development of these young leaders. The organization is also known for its iconic Girl Scout Cookie Program, which teaches girls valuable entrepreneurial skills while funding their activities and community projects.
