A Mile of Fun! Coming Fall 2026!
Maricopa First Friday is a community-driven celebration of arts, culture, small business, and local heritage held in the heart of Maricopa's historic district. Designed as a vibrant, walkable experience, First Fridays invites residents and visitors alike to explore the places, stories, and people that make our community unique.
As you stroll through the Heritage District, you'll discover local businesses, artists, musicians, makers, food vendors, community organizations, and entrepreneurs alongside some of Maricopa's most cherished landmarks. From the iconic water tower and the century-old palm tree to Heritage Park, the Maricopa Historical Society, the historic train depot area, and some of the community's oldest buildings, First Friday celebrates both our history and our future. Visitors can enjoy stops at local favorites like Roots Eatery and the White Barn at Stage Stop Marketplace while exploring themed activity zones throughout the district.
Each event features live music, street performers, art demonstrations, family-friendly activities, classic cars, shopping, dining, and interactive experiences designed to bring the community together. Whether you're attending for a night out, family fun, local culture, or business networking, there's something for everyone.
Enjoy great food, drinks, live entertainment, and the chance to win fantastic prizes through raffle drawings throughout the evening. This casual gathering is a perfect opportunity to meet the people helping bring First Fridays to life, share ideas, and become part of a community-driven movement focused on arts, culture, small business, and downtown revitalization.
More than just an event, Maricopa First Fridays Downtown is a celebration of community pride, local creativity, and the shared vision of creating a thriving downtown destination for generations to come.
This vision for a more connected community is Presented by the City of Maricopa and Duke's Roadhouse and Hosted by Maricopa Friends of the Arts and the Greater Maricopa Business Alliance.
